Alliance between
Sphere Communications and Quintum Delivers Certified
Survivable Remote Office Solution |
| Both companies have
certified the interoperability of Sphere’s award-winning
Sphericall IP PBX application with Quintum Technologies’
VoIP gateways. The combination provides a powerful
set of options for enterprises to assure they have
reliable communications across all office locations.
Sphere’s unified communications and IP PBX
software is an open system that utilizes SIP technology
to work with telephony devices like Quintum’s
Tenors, which provide a remote office gateway solution
that registers with the Sphericall IP PBX. Tenor gateways
integrate legacy equipment such as fax machines, credit
card readers and postal meters as well as provide
local trunking and station interfaces at remote locations.
Intelligence built into the Tenors maintains normal
communications in the event that corporate connectivity

VAR Deploys
Quintum Tenors with Inter-Tel 7000 To VoIP-Enable Idaho
Universtity |
Northwest Nazarene University, a Christian university in Idaho,
was looking to update their phone system, including the voicemail
system. But, the real challenge was to provide a next generation
VoIP solution that allowed NNU to integrate their older technology
with the new IP PBX they wanted to deploy.
The reseller, Datatel Communications, from Meridian, Idaho,
deployed Tenors across 8 locations, connected to the Inter-Tel
7000 IP PBX. Tenors are noted for their ability to seamlessly
connect legacy analog systems, or even fax and modem-based
devices to newer IP-based communications networks. Read the
