NET QUINTUM GATEWAYS ACHIEVE CERTIFICATION FOR MICROSOFT EXCHANGE UNIFIED MESSAGING IN MICROSOFT’S UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS OPEN INTEROPERABILITY
PROGRAM |
NET Quintum gateways recently completed Microsoft certification for Microsoft Exchange Unified Messaging for both the VX and Tenor lines of VoIP switches
and gateways, confirming their ability to easily integrate a customer’s existing voice infrastructure with Exchange Unified Messaging. The completion
of the Exchange Unified Messaging certification complements the existing certification for Microsoft Office Communications Server 2007.
The VX and Tenor lines of MultiPath VoIP switches and gateways allow customers to consolidate their existing messaging infrastructure – including
voice mail, email servers and fax servers – into one new system. This simplifies the customer’s path to unified communications, greatly
simplifies the user experience and management of the messaging infrastructure, and results in significant cost savings. To read the complete release,

DAIRYLEA SUCCESSFULLY DEPLOYS MICROSOFT UNIFIED COMMUNICATIONS WITH AVAYA DEFINITY™ PBX |
Dairylea Cooperative Inc., the Northeast’s largest milk marketer has chosen Tenor DX Series VoIP switches and gateways to support its implementation
of Microsoft Unified Communications (UC), enabling a staged transition to full IP convergence in its existing network and telecom environment, which
features a seven-year-old Avaya Definity™ PBX. Microsoft UC users’ IP phones can connect through the Tenor to the PBX, so they can call non-UC
users inside and outside the company just as they did before. No modification at all of the PBX was necessary.
This ability to implement Microsoft UC without modification of the PBX was of significant benefit to Dairylea, since such modifications can be extremely
costly and time-consuming. Read the press release, please click here. |
